Spider Gwen

Here's a new digital art piece I made today of the one and only Spider Gwen. Again, I decided to do something different and this time produce a full body digital piece of a character in an action pose. To achieve this, I took reference images from Spider-Man into the Spider-verse to produce an action pose which I was happy with. I then used these images and comic book panels to decide upon the shading of the character so that I could produce a cartoon which really looked like her! Finally, I decided to use ben-day dots for my background so that I could produce a style which was similar to the designs we see in comic books and the movie itself. This use of technique allowed me to bring more life to the character and create a better representation of movement.
