El Ratel - The Gunslinger

I was tasked with creating my own original character which had to fall under the themes of either; The Wild West, Knights or Feudal Japan. I settled on the idea of the Wild West and thus began exploring different ideas. At the time, I've been watching a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 and have been going back over the game. As a result, RDR2 became a huge inspiration for the style of my character; as I drew key visual aspects from characters such as Arthur Morgan, John Marston and even Red Harlow (although he is from Red Dead Revolver.) My aim with this original character was to create something new and that would stand out. As such I decided to create not just a hybrid between human and animal but to also incorporate mechanical technology; thus making him part machine as well! El Ratel is one of my first original characters and the start to a new series of character designs in the near future!!
