Tried something very different with this art piece; mainly the fact that I wanted to experiment with realistic cartoons as well as perform a character study. I settled upon the idea of producing a character head profile of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin from the new film Spider-Man No Way Home. To achieve this, I took multiple reference images of the character and actor from the film and other media appearances so that I could accurately portray his facial structure (such as his cheek bones and nose) as well as create accurate renditions of his teeth and eye colour. This was a very fun challenge and something which I enjoyed hugely! I love experimenting with different illustration and cartooning styles and this is something which I definitely want to try more of in the future. As this was an actual character study it took me longer than other 2d art pieces with me completing it in about 5 hours of total time. I plan on producing a similar style piece of Alfred Molina's Doc Ock very soon to accompany this piece!
