Gear Fourth Snakeman Luffy

Here is the final version for my latest digital art piece which I have been working on. Snakeman Luffy is the longest digital art piece I have worked on; with a total of 12 hours put into this particular piece of character design. For this piece, I wanted to produce an artwork which would either resemble a scene within the One Piece anime or that of a manga cover. Overall, I worked on this piece of character art a bit at a time making sure that each area was fully complete and to the highest possible standard. This was the biggest and longest 2D digital art work which I have produced and was thus an experiment to see the quality of work which I can produce when I have no set time limit and the different styles I can work in. I'm incredibly happy with this piece and how it turned out; being able to showcase my progression and art processes and thus produce an incredibly realistic piece of anime art which looks like it could have been taken directly from the screen! I plan on producing more digital art like this in the future; thus experimenting with even longer digital art projects in both anime and realistic designs.
